Teresa Birch has studied piano throughout her life, beginning at age four.  As a member of Music Teachers National Association, Teresa has taught private piano lessons since 1980 and has extensive experience as an accompanist, choir director, church children's music leader, and piano performer.  

     She is the mother of 9 and grandmother of 23 (and counting), and has delighted in bringing music into the lives of her family and seeing the joy it brings to them.  Teresa has brought her love of music and young children together in her Kindermusik classes since 2002.  Her Kindermusik Program became a Kindermusik Top Program (top 5% of all Kindermusik programs worldwide) in 2005.  From 2007 to 2021, Teresa's Kindermusik school was in the top 1% of all Kindermusik programs worldwide.  She has co-written curricula for Kindermusik, and created training content used with Kindermusik educators worldwide. She has shifted her main teaching focus back to her piano roots, but also loves still teaching Kindermusik on a smaller scale.  

     For over 40 years, Teresa has been loved and supported by her wonderful husband Richard.  Richard is her friend, business partner, confidant, faith partner, adventure buddy, and love of her life.
